Q. Are there any limitations to using Microsoft Access databases?

A. Yes. Microsoft Jet (MS Access) is not intended to be used for high-traffic websites. Applications that use an Access database are usually cheaper and easier to use. But the trade-off is that its simplistic structure can be easily overloaded (only 255 people can be viewing your website at a time without crashing the database).

This is normally not a problem for small to medium-sized businesses. However, if you plan to install your DMXReady application into a high-traffic website, we suggest that you convert it for use with MySQL.
