Q. Why Doesn't the Category I've Just Created Appear in the Pull-Down Menu in Catalog Manager?

A. The most likely cause for this problem is that you created a category, but not a sub-category. You need to create both in order to add a new item. The structure for this then would be Category > Sub-Category > Item.


For example, you cannot add "iPod" to your "Electronics" category -- it must go under Electronics (Category) > MP3 Players (Sub-Category) > iPod (Item).
